The VITAURBANA collection presents opportunities to invent new spaces, join people together, and live the landscape. This collection embraces Social Design for Real Life and recognizes a designer’s role in society to bring about social change through design. Today we are showcasing Cobra, one of the four lines within the collection.
Cobra's design offers linear, angled, or curved sections in hardwood, with two different supports in corten steel or powder coated steel to be cemented/anchored to the ground. It features a patented technopolymer "U" element which has three advantages:
1- the wood never rests directly on the steel structure, but is at a distance, therefore avoiding water stagnation
2- makes the wood stay in a correct vertical position
3- acts as an elastic coupling, ensuring grip despite the loosening of the screws over time, due to the natural movement of the wood
