The Bay Area Metro Station

This summer, the Bay Area Quality Management District unveiled their new home located at 375 Beale Street in San Francisco. This stunning building, designed by Bay Area, TEF Design, houses our Sedis Torsion bench created for Metalco by Antonio Citterio and Toan Nguyen. The harmony of beautifully curved wood on the Sedis Torsion marries remarkably well with the magnificent architecture and compliments the organic materials and shapes presented in the building.

Sedis Torsion is crafted with individual wood slats made of Okoumé wood. Its appearance shows both light and dark shades that work together to achieve natural fluid curves. Sedis Torsion can be made to stand-alone or be paired with straight Sedis benches on either side to create a composite custom bench.

If you reside in San Francisco, feel free to check out the Sedis Torsion at the Bay Area Metro Center. You can also share this project with your friends and clients via our Portfolio.
